My name is Stephen and am a widower, a cub scout leader, a pawpaw and a special ed teacher among other things. I just bought my first ever AKC registered Golden Retriever. Firestar, as I call him, is 4 months old and from a good bloodline of English variety Golden Retievers (dark golden). I am truly amazed at how very smart he is and a fast learner. He is a joy to me! I hope to find a trainer for both of us so I can show him. He already has learned to play fetch with me.
