It's Christmas time, the kennels are full of traveling people, and a lot of fosters are out of town. Somebody adopts a 9 month old puppy and today decides that they can't keep her. So desperate for a foster, they call good old Gus's mom to see if she will take the girl. *sigh* So softy that she is, Gus's mom says OK for a few days. :ph43r: She is on her way over right now, what have I done?

Well, Jingle will love it. Although she was recently spayed, so she will be on crate rest quite a bit.

Yes you are a softy and thats what we love about you. Heidi is a pretty one. She looks like a tuffy though. IS she? I hope they all get along.

That is what I said about that Lab the lady wanted to give me. What have I done. I don't think I could have handled him. He was a love bug but would have knocked me down a few peggs.

Last nite in the dark down the street I could see a car stop and then took off real fast. I think someone bumped a dog. All nite long I kept going outside with my light so I could see if I could find it. The dogs in the neiborhood were barking like mad. It happens all the time around here. So sad.

SO this is why you do what you do and you are a heaven sent. :hugsmiley

Well, Heidi is a wild child. She just never stops. And she has no obedience training. Somebody is coming to see her tomorrow, but I really don't think it will work, they have young kids. And while she thinks that it isn't possible to give me or Jingle or Gus enough kisses, I think she will be too much for them. And somebody will be coming to see Jingle on Thursday. She is super sweet, but a real handful.

Oh my. Some people can't handle a dog like that. That is what happened with Bailey. The lab I couldn't handle. To much puppy. She will need someone who will hang in there till puppy hood goes away and a big yard to run.

Bailey was 4 years old and still boucing around.
