Heather contacted me via facebook and asked me to pass on a message as she is in hospital. I will just copy & paste what she wrote:

| Hey Sue, can you tell everyone on the GR site to keep posting... I can't post from my BlackBerry to the site but I can see the pictures. I'm missing Sabre, my husband said he is lost without me and wondering around and sleeping at the foot of the stairs instead of where he normally sleeps. So I need to see pictures of everyones baby (ies). |

| I have crohn's and had a really bad attack on the weekend. Which lead me here! I have on test for the doctors to do before they decide to treat me with meds or surgery. Remind them that Judd will be 3 tomorrow, it was a lot of the girls that convinced me to go to the hospital 3 years ago today. :-) |
She is being a trooper, but a few hugs from us will help!
Get well soon Heather!!

Bill and Judd are coming to visit me tonight. Wish Sabre could come too. But he can't. Bill said Sabre is so depressed since I left, can't wait to see him.
Thank you for your thoughts!! Post pictures of your babies, I need a GR fix.
Love, H.

Here an email I sent my mother earlier today - to keep you posted.
, here is the latest. I do not have crohn's in my large bowel. However, the x-ray and ultrasound from yesterday shows that I have active crohn's in my small bowel. My ultrasound showed signs of lots of fluid still in there which means there is a blockage. (1) could be inflammation treat-able by medication. (2) could be scar tissue - treat-able by surgery. They have another style of x-ray scheduled for me tomorrow which will give us the final answer of what the blockage us. I might be able to get in for the x-ray today. Keep your fingers crossed that it is the 1st one!!

Hugs to you Heather and prayers for your recovery WITHOUT surgery! Most of my family (not me though) has diverticulitis and 4 of them have had surgery to have part of their bowel removed. Two (hubby and son) had colostomy's that were reversed after the bowel rested and healed. So, know what you are going through! Just rest and hopefully you will be out of there soon and on meds. A big Happy Birthday to Judd! Hang in there Judd, Bill and Sabre - Mom will be home soon!

Well, no blockage so no surgery needed. I'm back on a full diet, just had some crackers. I would kill for a Diet Pepsi but this is a Coke hospital. I'm on my last bag of IV steriods then my IV can come out. They are hoping I can get out tomorrow afternoon, if not than Friday am. We are hoping for tomorrow so we don't have to cancel Judd's birthday party with Nanna and Clay in Edmonton. I will still have to take some meds once I'm out for 10 days or so.
I'm glad that I will be on vacation next week so Judd and I can kick back.
That is the latest.
