He waved to me. I'm sure that in spite of the hundreds of other people there he was waving at me. :ph43r:
He was across the street from where I work, at the Washington Post. Now that he was about 10 feet away from me, I don't feel the need to go to inauguration. Not that I felt like fighting the crowds anyway. The building I work in is going to be on lockdown, even though we are a few blocks away from the parade route, and pretty far away from the inauguration. We have the day off, it is going to be hard to get downtown that day.
:clap Oh you lucky girl. I wish I could see him and touch his hand. I wish him so much luck. How did he look in person?
Great. Of course, he was in a limo in a motorcade. But he was waving. We are getting the artic cold right now, but I was determined to see him.
So cool! I wish I was in DC right now for all the madness!
He came to our condo building about 6 months ago for a fundraiser dinner and we got to meet him and shake his hand....I love him:) He's a handsome man!!
