Rocker's first foray into the show world!! :smiling: He was entered for the Baby Puppy Stakes for pups below 6 months of age.

Hehe... as usual, I was a chicken and chose not to handle him in the ring myself. Got my good friend to take him in as he loves her to death...

Funny that you mentioned that... When Rocker first arrived, he was very shy with strangers. At one point I got so worried that he would be scared in the ring with all the commotion and lights. But look at him now!!! My friend (Linda) and I made an agreement - winning is secondary. He MUST have a positive experience in the ring for his first show!!

Now... winning is really sweet... :woosmiley

haha... I think everyone here is just bias... keke.. so am I!!!

People around me were telling me that their pick was that Schnauzer pup who came in 2nd...

So when Rocker was picked, naturally there is talk and politics going around... but who cares?! Friends who watched said that Rocker was naturally outstanding due to his size, built, colour and behaviour in the ring. He could snap from playful pup to a posing professional in a second...

We know that behavior goes a long way in the ring! That's a real show dog that does that at his age! As for being biased, yeah probably, but now tell me, how could they have picked anything but that beautiful mug!
