Well, I haven't really had a foster for a while. Just got an email asking me to take this boy, his name is Jag



This is the description that I got in an email:

This is Jag, he is about 6 months old and about 40lbs. He is a very sweet dog and eager to please. He is a calm dog and loves to ride in a car. He does well with other dogs and he loves everybody he meets. The previous owner said he was a full blooded lab. He is gorgeous.

Yes, I'm a sucker. I told them that I would take him this weekend, he is being neutered today and I don't want to take him too soon. Eddie will insist on playing with him immediately.

Wow he is a stunner!! What a gorgous colour, he looks like a reddish gold & is that a spot of white on his chest? Unusual colouring for a lab, but still gorgous!! I am in love with this one Mel, good job I live so far away!! :rolleyes:

ooooooooo hes pretty. I love his eyes! do you think hes all lab? just curious, I've never seen one that color. :shrug

I'm sure he will have lots of fun with gus and eddie!

He is considered a yellow lab. Yellow labs range from cream to fox red. The owner supposedly had papers for him, but didn't hand them over, so I take it with a grain of salt. He looks all lab to me, depends on the white on his chest. A little white is OK, as long as it isn't bigger than a quarter. Since I only have this pic, I can't tell how big the white spot is, or if it goes down his chest. He is only 6 months old, but he has a great head!

I just checked, he is up on the website already. I have a feeling that I may not even get him. He could be adopted before the weekend. We'll see.

Oh wow Mel he is adorable :love663: ! So he got neutered too like Hunter....ouch! I bet he will not be up for adoption long as he is just so pretty. I love his golden eyes. One of the new boys I am getting also has the golden eyes which is really a fault in goldens, but I think they are beautiful. I will post a picture I took at the shelter of him so you can see what I am talking about on Hunter's thread. Oh I bet your boys are going to have so much fun with this little guy.

As I suspected, Jag got adopted today. Somebody went to visit him and fell in love. Good thing I didn't get Eddie's hopes up too high!

Oh I am glad, but not surprise he got adopted so quickly. i would have like to see some more pics of him though, he is a stunner.

Wow that was fast. I am so happy that he got his forever home so quickly though. He really is a beauty.

Yes, he did get adopted quickly. I predicted he would. He got adopted directly out of the vets, so I never even got to meet him. But I'm glad he found his forever home so quickly.
